Spa Terra at The Meritage has a beautiful setting and a calming atmosphere, but the overall experience fell short of expectations—especially for the price. Unfortunately, the spa jets were not working during our visit, which was disappointing and took away from the relaxation aspect of the facilities.
We booked a couples massage but were separated, which wasn’t communicated clearly ahead of time. During the massage itself, the service felt rushed and impersonal, and it ended abruptly without any sort of closing or grounding moment you’d expect from a high-end spa. Phenomenal spa experience! The space is absolutely stunning, and the amenities are top-notch—from the gorgeous pool to the relaxing lounges. I had the best massage of my life here, starting with a warm welcome and a glass of champagne. The staff made us feel so comfortable from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend checking it out—and keep an eye out for their specials, they often run great deals!
We (4 girls) did the Galentine‘s Day special and was very disappointed with our service. First, there was no face massage, it was just oil and a towel being put on our face. A couple of the girls didn’t even get the face massage or foot wrap. The therapists went way too fast while giving the massage. No technique, just fast rubbing. It almost seemed like they were rushing. The calming room was crowded…this could’ve been due to Valentine’s Day weekend. The hot tub was also very crowded and loud. It didn’t make for a relaxing experience. For the price, we just didn’t feel like it was worth it.
