use this as more of a casual practice course than anything else. it’s not in the best shape, but super playable and you can tell the maintenance is doing their best. play good here and you’ll play even better at a well manicured course. ryan and shane in the pro shop are super cool too. 5 stars

My family and I visited The Colony Golf Course for the first time ever, and it was an experience we will never forget. We chose this spot to celebrate my daughter’s 17th birthday, and it turned out to be a truly magical day. The highlight—and something I still can’t quite believe—happened on hole number six. My daughter hit a hole-in-one! We were all so shocked and excited that we screamed and yelled for about five minutes straight. Seeing that ball go in was pure joy, and it’s a memory our family will cherish forever. The course provided the perfect backdrop for such a milestone moment. While we were so caught up in the excitement that we didn't finish the full round, we are already planning our next visit with hopes of playing all 18 holes. If you're looking for a place to create lifelong memories, this is it. I hope others get to experience even a fraction of the magic we did! Highlight: An unforgettable 17th birthday celebration and a legendary hole-in-one on #6!

So, definitely the worst course I've ever played. They're apparently waiting for the community to buy them out and pour some money into the course. Tee boxes are rough, fairways are hit or miss, and greens aren't a consistent speed. Rough is pretty terrible, no 2nd cut. Buuuutt if you go into it just having fun, it has some decent bones. Staff is friendly. Just don't use your nicest golf balls on this course!

TRASH. The say the course is challenging? Only on the wallet. Bring a lot of balls. If you don't hit the fairway, your ball is gone! There is no second cut. Either fairways or foot deep weeds. Absolutely no room for error. Tee boxes are a joke, straight rough dirt. The greens are ok, but that's it. I've played some dicey Southern California golf courses, but I'll never play here again.

Course could use some attention. Dead trees, etc. Also has frisbee golf.

This course is over hated in my opinion. I have played the best like oak quarry and hidden valley, then I have played the worst, van buren, cotton wood, and Creste verde. This course layout has no issues in my opinion giving easy short holes to challenging longer holes. The fairways weren’t the best conditions but they were 100% playable. The rough was pretty heavy, making it very hard to find balls even if you’re just off the edge of the fairway. The greens were in outstanding conditions for a course of this level and price. 15 out of 18 of th tee boxes were normal conditions a few were in sub par but playable. Drinks at the course were cheep, $4 each, and $5 for a push cart. Overall I would DEFINITELY come back when I’m short on funds or just looking for a place with less people and shorter total yardage.

Actually the worst course I've ever played... please don't waste your money. Conditions have gotten worse over the years, it's not even worth the cheap green fee to tee off of dirt. 0 stars if I could
