I've been having Irma cut and color my hair for a couple of years. I've been really happy with her work. At first I found her a bit hard to communicate with. It's not a language issue; I just had a hard time getting across what I wanted. A friend who had her hair done at the same time felt the same way. The first time, my hair ended up more blonde than I really wanted.

Ruby is fantastic! I needed a haircut badly after months of growing out unwanted layers and Ruby was able to take me the same day that I called. I was a little nervous about going to this salon, since, while the reviews are great, I tend to rely a little more heavily on photos as evidence of high quality, but they exceeded my expectations! Ruby was very sweet and incredibly attentive, carefully listening to what I wanted while also following up to ensure she understood and checking with me throughout to make sure it wasn't too short. Irma did an amazing consult, cut and color for me! I finally found my hairstylist in the Bay Area after years of being here and trying new stylists. I have curly hair that she did an amazing job at cutting while also being able to wear it straight when I have the energy to do it! Definitely try this place. Oh and take note: they only take check or cash.
