I just completed a couple days of hiring a Day Worker from the Day Worker Center. The gentleman was super hard working and a very good listener. He worked about a half day the first day and closer to 8 hours the second day. I had a lot of weeds growing in my front and back yards. With the Day Worker's help we got most of them cut down. The front yard was finished the first day. The larger back yard took most of the next day.
I've hired workers here at least 10 times. Housecleaning, moving furniture, tree trimming, yard junk hauling, yard cleanup, decluttering help, and painting. Not all speak a large amount of english, but the center is there to call if you need translations.
Also after you work with someone, you can simply call them directly to hire them again. I recommend highly.
I went with a group of volunteers through a charity organization to provide free dental service. The place seems clean and well maintained. It offers meals to the migrant workers and other services. Overall a good facility for people in need.
The reason for the 4 star is because it is a basic facility and not fancy at all.
