About Bloomsgiving
Bloomsgiving is a charming coffee shop and plant store in downtown Mountain View, known for its tropical houseplants and inviting atmosphere. The knowledgeable staff are happy to answer questions about the plants. The shop also features a cafe serving coffee beans roasted by Academic, with a menu that includes espresso drinks, drip coffees, and seasonal espresso tonics with house-made rose syrup. Customers enjoy the shop's original vibe, which blends plants and flowers with a cozy cafe setting. Many appreciate the flower attached to their coffee cups, adding a calming and joyful touch. The menu offers delicious iced vanilla lattes, matcha, and London Fog tea made with Earl Grey Lavender Tea, along with the espresso tonic options like bloomsgiving and passion fruit. Pastries from The Midwife and The Baker complement the offerings. Visitors often mention the friendly service and the small touches, such as the sprig taped to the cup, which make the experience special. While some wish for more seating and lower plant prices, the unique combination of plants, coffee, and friendly staff makes Bloomsgiving a popular and uplifting destination in downtown Mountain View.
Great vibe and service. The cold brew was decent, if not a little weak. The cup was kind of squishy almost immediately, but I was careful and it held up.
The sprig taped to the cup was a nice touch.
I love the concept for this space! Florist + coffee bar specializing in a more limited menu done right. I got an iced coconut pandan matcha which was perfect to sip on while walking around downtown Mountain View. The matcha was smooth/well mixed and the coconut pandan added a bit of a toasted sweetness flavor. Staff were super kind and friendly as well. Will definitely be back!
Coffee tastes good and I love the little flower they tape on your cup — a small act that really differentiates itself and is cute to look at.
But I also really enjoy latte art and for speciality coffee shops, I expect to see creamy, milky foam. The barista did a good job but the cup was overflowing so she took another cup and just poured that into it, which destroyed the creamy foam at the top and turned it into a regular coffee. That was super disappointing.
