“I have been training with Happy Dog for several years. My dog had been going to another instructor prior and was very confused and unhappy. Happy Dog has done just that, made my dog happy! She now runs around the course with a smile on her face. Three years ago I thought we would never be where we are now. I addition to the happy demeanor on the course which was what was most important to me... my dog made it to a national level of competition! What an amazing bonus for my Happy Dog! Thank you Happy Dog!!“

“Our German Shepherd has been going to Matan over the past 3 years. We’ve trusted them for short and long-term boarding as well as individual obedience training. Without a doubt they are tops in our book. Our dog always looks forward to going and always comes back to us better. Rafael is the latest trainer for Nala and he has really helped get her to the next level. Extremely clean and awesome staff really make Matan the premier place for us!“

“I started bringing my husky mix here when he was 12 weeks to their puppy preschool classes and after going, wish I'd known about them when he was 8 weeks! I desperately needed some help with my hyperactive land shark! He's now moving up to the puppy + classes after turning 16 weeks recently! The whole crew has been monumental in his training and are so patient with him and my inexperience with such a distracted and hyper breed. They've taught us so many things that have made a night and day difference in my now not so little pup. They ask about and address specific concerns and issues we have instead of pushing out a one size fits all style of training. They offer support/advice not just with training but also with crate concerns, treat values, toys/enrichment, and even poop formation (helped me find pumpkin my vet recommended but that he would actually eat)!! The class sizes have always been manageable and the trainers are always understanding of my VERY distracted pup and offer guidance on how to handle that appropriately AND effectively. I am excited to continue with my pups trainings here and try out some of the agility and obedience classes as he progresses!I highly, HIGHLY, recommend them to anyone seeking trainings, play groups and even 1:1 training sessions. The work they do there is paramount to mine and my pups happiness! ? “

“Xaviera was extremely helpful with our 4 month old puppy. She came to our house and showed us what to do about every problem we were having. She is very knowledgeable, professional and thorough. We went from discouraged to encouraged. I learned a lot of techniques and tricks from Xaviera that I didn’t know before. I took her dog training course through Simi Valley Recreation and Parks and it was excellent as well. She stays after class to answer questions. She is easy to understand and follow. I think she would be helpful to anyone whether beginner or advanced. It is obvious she has been doing this for a long time. I highly recommend.“

“We took a puppy class with Barb and found it to be a wonderful socializing experience for our young Australian Cattle Dog puppy. Barb's approach consists of completely positive reinforcement which makes it fun for the pup and the owner while building a relationship between dog and owner. The pup will learn many useful obedience commands and build confidence by learning. She is passionate about dog training and has a genuine love of animals and people. She makes the experience fun for all with her positive energy and patience. We have had Barb come to our home for some additional one -on- one training with our puppy which has proved very helpful because Barb could evaluate specific issues we were dealing with and also observe our older dog and pup interact. She was able to provide us with valuable insight into steps we could take to correct certain behaviors. Barb is really fantastic and you and your dog will both be happy with the results.“

“My rescue Pomeranian Sylvie is a little scared of other dogs, especially big ones. But I needed either a daycare or dog walker to watch over Sylvie while I was at work, and I happened to come across the Doggy Den. I like that the Doggy Den strikes a good balance between flexibility and ensuring that the dogs are in a safe environment. They check vaccination records for every dog that enters the facility but also accept booking requests that are made super last minute (I'm guilty of this). I dropped Sylvie off in the morning, paid for a full day of service, and picked up Sylvie in the afternoon. The whole process was very easy, and I had the peace of mind knowing that she was being looked after. When I picked up Sylvie the first day, she was a little quiet and seemed ready to leave. She is pretty reserved when it comes to new experiences such as this, so I didn't see it as a concern. On the second day, she was visibly more excited and alive. I think after an adjustment period, she will be more comfortable with being at daycare. Price-wise, Doggy Den is on par with most daycares in the area. I like that they also have an Instagram page, where you can see pictures of the cute dogs and play areas. If I have one small complaint, it's that my dog smelled heavily of daycare when I picked her up. Overall, this is a solid choice if you are looking for a safe place to drop off your dog in the Thousand Oaks area.“

“I have been coming to CVVH for probably 3 years. My small dog ended up having many issues and had to be brought in and stayed for days for pancreatitis. It ended up to be chronic and all the help and support made it much easier for me to navigate thru to a new normal. Then it came time when my dog was ready to lay her head down for the last time. My feelings over the situation was taken to heart by all Dr Kane and the rest of the staff and I was supported in my decision when to say goodbye.I am excited to start afresh with a familiar medical team to care for my new puppy for years to come.As for prices. I am sure you can find cheaper. But there are places that are astronomically more as well. I find the pricing fair and upfront. I was even charged too much for something and at a future visit I was told I had a credit so my current bill would be less (it happened twice and it was not much … around $9 once and I think $20 the other time … but it was much appreciated)“
