“Sonia’s salon is perhaps one of the best salons in the Monterey Park area and here’s why. The owner Sonia is one of the hardest working salon owners I have ever met.

Between taking care of her grandchildren she’s a down to earth hair dresser that knows how to cut not just women’s hair but men’s hair. She’s a great stylist with a great sense of dress and style, not to mention she strikes a similarity to the first lady Melania.

Everytime I come here I know that I get a great style with a no-nonsense approach, whereas I’ve found salons in the Monterey Park area that tend to sometimes push other services such as perms and certain style cuts.

Sonia has always given me a great cut everytime. She is familiar with current styles and is great with cutying Asian hair. You can tell she takes real pride in her work. Not to mention her reasonable price she charges. It’s advised that you call ahead of time to confirm her schedule. I highly recommend Sonia’s salon if you want a great cut!“

“I went in for a facial and concerns about my saggy jowls. Mary took one look at my skin and recommended skin tightening. I did it and have been asked by several people what I did to my face I look ten years younger. Mary educated me about taking care or your skin doesn't only include sun block or moisturizers but microdermabration to remove the dead skin so that the moisture can be absorbed. The skin tightening treatment was Suttle but noticeable. I now realize how important it is to take care of your face if you want to stay young looking. She even has package to help you achieve your goals...this place is a must“

“I come here with my son usually for hair cut. Man 45$ boy 35$ i think (plus minus 5$ i forgot lol). I keep losing the name card and end up with different hair designers, and all of them are very professional. My son enjoys staying there, and i like their attitude being super friendly. Only thing bugs me is that the entrance of the building looks scary. Many shops were closed it seems..! I thought i entered the wrong building when i went there for the first time. Location is also very good. It is in Monterey park where many markets and close to Alhambra main street as well.“
