Really good haircut at a very reasonable price! I came in asking for a short bob, and he executed it to a T. He took his time and was very detail oriented. I took a shower after and let my hair air dry, which is the ultimate test of a good low-maintenance hair cut. I'm so happy with how it looks without styling! See attached pic. This is one of those local mom-and-pop Mandarin speaking salon in the SGV (San Gabriel Valley) area and I came here because my go-to haircut place didn't pick up my multiple appointment calls & out of frustration I decided to try this local salon. I came here at 5 PM (walk-in) and I was able to get a haircut immediately. Danny (the owner) was busy cutting someone else's hair so I got this lady cutting my hair instead. [Price]: $12 up for men hair cut. $17 up for men wash cut. To my surprise they accept credit cards. [Atmosphere]: No sports TV here with Chinese music playing in the background. I just left Danny's and wanted to make sure to leave a review before I forget. This place was such a lifesaver! Ive been looking all week for a good place for a cut and everywhere I msged quoted me nearly $100 for a cut. I have tons of hair so i always expect to pay a bit more than the average price but $100?!?! Surges for Covid aside, I still expect to pay maybe MAYBE $50 for a simple cut. Well, Dannys charged me $20! Ive always been afraid of getting my hair cut due to many bad experiences, they never seem to be able to cut what I ask. Its always an extra 2 inches or so than what I wanted. Thankfully, Danny gave me exactly what I asked for. I left so so happy and relieved....read full review
