“We had a floor cleaning machine that knocked out power on 3 lines. I originally called Express Electric but they didn't really know what the problem was. He said he wanted to rejuvenate the panel and search for shorts in the lines. I asked why would I pay for both? Wouldn't it be one or the other? He asked for $5700!!!I called around for a second opinion when I found Avila Electric. Jesse was very friendly and sounded knowledgeable on the phone.He came out and found there was nothing wrong with our panel. Then he found another sub panel I had forgotten. “I called today looking for someone to check the outlet for my forced air unit. Frank answered and was at my home within hours. While troubleshooting the issue he also found several other areas of old/bad wiring that no other electrician who has worked in that space pointed out. He is excellent at what he does and wasn't going to stop until he found the problem. I have an old house with electrical that most have thrown their hands up at, wished us luck or quoted us for a significant re-wiring. Not Frank. He isolated the short - fixed it and then fixed the other old/bad wiring. He didn't leave until the job was done. I can't say enough about how great our experience was working with Blackstock Electric. The price was more than beyond fair. He was friendly, kind and also cleaned everything up. “This company was wonderful. Definitely recommend! They did panel upgrade from our original 50 amp panel. They grounded all outlets because they were two prong. It was so much work. They communicated everything effectively and were just honest employees. The owner was great to talk to. He was helpful every step of the way. I wish I had more electrical work for them to do because they were that great to work with. Oh, and they always showed up with masks! So that was a relief.
