I have two crowns and two cowlicks, which which are generally a challenge for any barber. Krystal, who owns this shop, and works alongside her mother, does a fantastic job. The shop is small and friendly, and takes walk-ins. There is plenty of parking, and the prices are very reasonable. If you're looking for a good haircut, consider giving Tall Tales a try.

For 5 years now I've been getting my haircut and beard trim at Tall Tales Barber Shop. I always tell a true life experience story during my haircut and Krystal always pretends to listen. I end each story with "& that's no Tall Tale..." I've always been happy with the quality and customer service I have experienced at this barber shop and I love the old school vibe & decor...some new items have been added to the walls and I must say the new items are fascinating conversation pieces, although you won't be able to see them because they have to operate their business outside after a visit from the city of Modesto. The only Barber shop that I allow to touch my head. I go in every two weeks for sure. Friendly atmosphere, and good conversation. Al, Crystal, and Jennifer are the best! Jennifer is a wizard when it comes to my oddly shaped head. You won't be disappointed.
