I moved to Modesto in May 2022, on a temporary basis. I looked for a hairstylist that would press my hair, with the comb. The first person I tried didn't use a pressing comb, she used a flat iron and it just didn't work for me. I found Janice ( Jazzy J's) online and figured I'd give her a try. It was wonderful, not only does she press good, the shampoo is awesome. I made an appointment every two weeks, I never had to wait for her to finish another head. My time was valuable to her and I greatly appreciated that. I highly recommend her. When I come back to visit I will definitely call Janice. Thank you

This is the BEST Black owed Hair Salons in Modesto. Owed by a mama snd daughter team. Janice the mother, when doing my hair. Brings me back to my childhood. How my mother used to do my hair. I get a deep cleaning and I have to stop myself from falling asleep I am so comfortable in that chair I love love love the way my hair looks when I leave her shopJazmine the daughter is very thorough like her mama. Both are very gentle on head. Enjoy my conversations in the salon. I feel welcome to be there and I feel like I am at home with family. Good price point
