Unless things are really dire, which they usually aren't, the Vets here take on a more conservative approach. Just like at your human doctor, even tho it seems unsure, not everything is an emergency, and if it is, your pet belongs at the emergency hospital, not your regular vet.

You could choose to go a different route and order excessive tests for your peace of mind, despite the Vets here not seeing the urgency. And mind you, they've had education, they've gone thru training, they've had trials. They've seen so much worse... and so I appreciate that they have a cool head on and can be realistic and logistical.
