I didn’t get any work done here but the owner was open about prices over the phone which I appreciate. He mentioned it would be $45 to put a protective sole on men’s loafers.
Gino fixes everything, I have been going to hm for YEARS! There are so few shoe repairs anymore, and Gino's quality of work surpasses any of them out there. He always greats you with a smile .His prices are very fair and no matter how small or large, he will not turn you away . I went to him to replace zipper in my favorite shoes, He said "let me try something , Then and there he put some lubricant on the zipper and it has been working fine the last year !
I brought in an old pair of shoes to see if they could be stretched for a walking trip. The owner was honest and said that it probably wouldn't withstand the stretching and also added that putting new soles on would be expensive (shoes were 30+ years old, but my fav pair). Appreciate his honest assessment.
