The work crew is extremely helpful and professional, with no wait time and patients seen right away. The place is really nice, clean, clean, and clean, and all staff greet patients with a smile. The care from the doctors is first rate, caring, and kind. Patients have been very pleased with every provider, who are all patient, knowledgeable, and kind. The telephone service for setting appointments is good, and the portal is easy for sending messages and reading visit follow-up summaries. It is impressive that everyone is served, no matter their income. However, calling to schedule appointments is difficult, as the center does not answer for days, and some are not satisfied with that service. Overall, Golden Valley Health Centers - Urgent Care provides quality healthcare with dignity and compassion.
I went in on a weekend when we couldn’t get in with our regular pediatrician. The provider was wonderful and she continued to check up with us after the visit. I appreciate her going above and beyond and really caring about her patients.
There is too much of a disconnection now with the Call center, app and providers. If a mistake happens you call the call center who sends a message to the provider. If you call again you are told you’ll get a message from a supervisor who never calls. Then you’re stuck making a new appointment or going in person back to the clinic to get the problem fix. Too big of disconnection personally for me and my needs as I have decided to leave the clinic for a new clinic. The bottom instance is not the only instance. I did not make my decision lightly but had to base it on my needs that were not being met.

I get so frustrated with these doctors offices. I came in at 9 am they opened at 8 am. Instead of being seen by the doctor after the 2 patients ahead of me I have to wait until 11 because the current doctor has to take their lunch and can only see those that came before me and I must wait for the other doctor coming in at 11!!
