“I am so late in writing this review, but Julianne is a literal miracle worker. I went in for a color correction and she saved my hair. My previous stylist had left me with a horrible uneven brassy lift - I truly thought there’d be no way to go lighter and I would have to go back to brunette. Julianna spent hours painstakingly working on my hair - going through each strand to make sure my hair lifted evenly and with minimal damage. She was able to achieve incredible results and it has grown out beautifully in the months following - with very minimal damage. She’s a true miracle worker - cannot recommend her enough.“

I had my appointment with Mira who has extensive experience with curly hair and she did not disappoint. I had blonde highlights but wanted it toned down to bring out my natural black hair but to also have some brown highlights. The end result came out exactly what I had envisioned. He’s a perfectionist, and I got to admire his work throughout the whole process from washing, cutting, shaping, to styling, he was absolutely meticulous, and has a very soft touch (never felt any pain, I usually do at most salons)! I must admit that I was a wee bit nervous at first upon realizing that the L’amour team speaks Chinese and little English, because how am I going to tell them exactly what I wanted - long layers with face framing pieces, not too choppy, but still good movement, and a little blowout? But from a short glance at a few saved picture examples that I had, and some expressive body gestures and communication, Sean knew exactly what I wanted, and gave me exactly what I wanted. On my way out, I saw an Asian girl who had bleached blonde hair, and let me tell you, it looked GOOD. So I think this place is a true gem with professionals who know what they’re doing. It’s definitely a great fit if you speak Chinese, wish I did!“

He never rushed, prioritized my hair’s health, and still delivered the exact shade and style I was hoping for — all without damage.

I appreciate how helpful and informative Steven is with aftercare, always walking me through what products to use so my hair stays healthy and looking 10/10 between visits.
