Great location for filming! We had a very smooth shoot at the count's den. Management was kind and accommodating. The resources there made everything very easy — 6 parking spots, tables / chairs for our lunch break, house lights, speaker system, and air conditioning. Highly recommend!
I've produced my live jazz cabaret show at The Count's Den four times now, and I cannot imagine a better home for it! Our show is meant to feel like stepping into a dreamscape, a moment away from real life, and The Count's Den already has so much magical atmosphere built in. It's intimate, moody, elegant, full of character, and yet still can be transformed into whatever world you're trying to make. There is no place like this in the world. Not only do they host some of the best theater, storytelling, and burlesque shows in Los Angeles, it's all housed in a haunting (and quite possibly haunted) Victorian drawing room. The Den and Immersive Art Collective also lead LA Theater in community outreach, offering free services, classes and performances to the public.
