“Have always had great and fast service from here, but $47 to hem 2 pairs of men’s work pants seems outrageous. A few years ago this would run $10-12/each. Definitely check with them the cost before hand because this was far more than expected at pickup (my own fault obviously for not clarifying beforehand).“

She is obviously experienced in alterations etc. I have a small waist and larger hips, so pants never fit well without a tight belt and still wind up bulky and unflattering. I just want to add that I’ve been frequenting this dry cleaners for a couple of years now and they are always pleasant and helpful. But what astounds me is how rude and self righteous some of the customers are to them. It’s astonishing to me that people treat others this way. This is a great business and bless them for dealing with some of these outrageous customers…..a true gem in our neighborhood!

“A large suit seller utterly failed with my alterations after two tries. My pants were blousy abominations that made me look like I was wearing diapers. But Lusona saved the day! They had to pretty much tear apart and re-create the entire pair of pants too - AND THEY DID SO PERFECTLY!

Even better, I needed an extreme rush because I had to fly to Hawaii for a wedding. I could not be happier.

And last but not least, the two owners (mother and daughter) are so charming! I'd recommend this wonderful establishment for that reason alone.“

“I love the people who run & operate this full service dry cleaners in Orinda. They are not as pricey as most of the other Orinda options, they are excellent quality, quite fast, never loose any of our stuff, and also they do expert alterations at a fair & reasonable price. Recently I brought some dressed to be altered for 2 weddings and they were HALF of what two dry cleaners/tailors were charging in the other part of Orinda!!! This alone saved me over $80 bucks! They are super nice & honest! Oh and there is plenty of parking too!“
