I’ve been going here for over 10 years. With confidence I can say this has been a great decade. I never have to worry that things haven’t been filed correctly or any problem. I’m just so grateful I found them when I did one of the best choices I have made. Jaime is super efficient always gets back to me in a timely manner, and does her job perfectly, Dana as well. Helps me to sleep, knowing there won’t be any devastating surprises. Go here 😅

Been coming to Money Matters for the past 2 years. Everyone there is courteous and attentive. They’re a small office but have great staff and quick service. Jamie (the manager) is so knowledgeable and quick to help! Thank you MM!

I've been going to Money matters for a couple of years. years. I called to confirm this year's appointment and they said oh nobody called you your person quit and we have nobody that can get your taxes done before tax day... You can drop them off and hopefully somebody can get them done but we can't guarantee it! Very unprofessional, you could tell that the receptionist really couldn't give a fuck... The employees at this location has really gone down since Chase left and moved up north... Another business in the beach area that does not care about their patrons, and has bad service! Have a nice day

Dana and Jamie have been extremely helpful. I came to them many years ago with a mess of taxes from doing them myself. They can give you some great tips on how to organize and track your expenses depending on your situation and even helped me incorporate years ago. I will not be doing my taxes again, I spend my time tracking expenses and let them handle the complicated tax filing. Money well spent and highly recommend them.

Very dissapointed - got no response to my email after 2 weeks and follow up email week later. If they didn't want to do my taxes they should just have said so. But keeping me waiting 3 weeks!!

Very nice group of professionals, but I wish they would stagger their vacation rather than having everyone take off at the same time. It makes it hard when you are trying to take care of business and no one is around to answer questions.

I'm with Money Matters for 2-3 years but decided to leave because: 1. My CPA Samantha is great but I never get to talk to her directly when I have questions regarding my tax planning. The only time i can talk to her directly is during my annual tax appointment. 2. Tried setting up a phone appointment with the CPA and was told they don't take appointments after a certain date I asked if they can recommend me to somewhere else so I can get my taxes file within the timeframe I need for mortgage application purposes they told me no and could care less that I'm now on my own. 3. Something went wrong with my filing last year and I ended up with an unpaid balance on my IRS account. Emailed them and ask for advice and all they did was tell me to call IRS myself to figure it out. 4. I had to file an extension for the first time last year. They helped me file an extension for federal but failed to tell me I had to do a prepayment for state tax for extension even after I told them I'm clueless about how extension work given it's my first time doing it. I ended up have to pay extra money for penalty because of this. Paying $275.00 for the filling is a steal but with all the cons above I'd rather opt for Turbo Tax full service at a premium rate in exchange for a better customer service.

My husband AND I have have used Money Matters for over 25 years. In 2020 they said we didn't have to file, because we only had income from Social security, So for the last 3 years we have never received any stimulus money from the Government. I called Jamie their at Money Matters, she was VERY RUDE. And asked her what about the state stimulus. She had no idea what I was talking about. For a tax service service, that's nor good. Everyone there should have known, you can still file with the state to get back some stimulus funds. I have recommended this place to several of my friends throughout the years. But I'm surly going to put the word out how I was treated there by Jamie. I have filed with another tax Co. And they have gotten me all my money from the state, that I asked Jamie to do, and she wouldn't. Dorothy Walters

I run a million dollar business and I've been in business a while at this point and had multiple tax people and I can say with confidence that this level of incompetence, unprofessionalism, and disorganization is unacceptable. They asked me no questions about my business to the level that they didn't even know I was out of state. They offered NO contract to ensure that we were both committed to doing taxes together. There was no secure portal for CC authorizations (Or any other forms it seemed). And they seemed to think that I would show up to a meeting with my tax person (with no prior conversation and with no information about my business) and hand them everything they needed with absolutely no direction. The emails didn't even have signatures, so I had no idea of who I was talking to and they wouldn't let me talk to the actual accountant. And, finally, when they did get back to me, they "fired" me as a client (which is why I wanted a contract in the first place) for asking for industry-standard things like a client information sheet and checklist of documents I needed and a contract to guarantee that I wouldn't get to February and get the exact response I just got. This was a terrible experience.
