This review is a long time coming, i've been going to see Nik for over two years after a horrible box dye mistake that left my hair teal! She fixed it! She's super great. The salon is always clean and nice. I got to go before lockdown and they were roping off chairs so only two people can have clients at a time (four people total), they took my temperature before entering, and they wore masks. They also encouraged contactless payment (I always use Venmo). I don't think Nic is currently taking clients but she is on instagram as @paintedbynik!
With the start of summer I wanted a change and have never had my hair colored professionally. I've heard great things about One Five One and made an appointment. Faten (the owner) and her assistant did a light bayalage, bringing out the natural auburn undertones I have in my brown hair. She's a true artist and super knowledgeable about mixing colors to bring out the right tones. I love how it looks—sun-kissed for the summer! It's so nice to have the change and I will definitely be back.
