I asked Purity Endodontics for a TMJ/teeth grinding referral and was referred to Dr. Alec. I've been grinding my teeth since I was a kid. At 52, I hate the fact that my teeth are slowly disappearing 😓 I visited Dr. Alec for Botox to help save what's left of my teeth, I do not want nubs, lol Dr. Alec was very thorough and took his time explaining things to me. I got the shots in my jaws 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾 Also, Dr. Alec is funny and easy to talk to. PS. There's a decent sized, FREE parking lot behind the building. The hardest part for me was finding which part of the building to go bc the majority of the he signs are in Korean. It was no big deal tho, bc I saw his sign that had English too.

I’ve been going to Dr. Kim for about a year now. Each time I visit, he makes sure to explain everything and checks to make sure I am well. He cares for each patient sincerely. The nurse in front is also very friendly and hospitable. The office overall has a calm atmosphere. If you have any problems with your jaw, you should definitely check this place out.

I have never met a doctor like Dr. Kim! He is the most approachable, caring, compassionate, and smartest doctor I've ever met, hands down. I had TMJ for 2 years and started having severe migraine with auras that were debilitating and depressing. I always lived in fear of my worsening TMJ and of my next migraine attack. Before I met Dr Kim, I had tried the dentist, botox, ER, acupuncture, and I felt like I exhausted all options. Not only did Dr. Kim explain patiently in layman terms and physically write down a personalized treatment plan (including meds, diet, and exercise) for me, he went above and beyond to provide me with resources to find the most affordable medication at a convenient pharmacy. And the medication worked like a charm for my migraine attacks. My first appointment with Dr Kim was very affordable and my follow up appointment was free of charge. Dr. Kim is my miracle from God and I'm truly grateful for his expertise and his down-to-earth patient care and education. I feel like I have my life back!! Thank you doctor!! And I would like to add the beautiful woman at the front desk is very courteous and sweet unlike other medical offices! Go here!!

This office has a calm and friendly atmosphere from front desk to the Doctor. Dr. Kim was informative and took the time to educate me on TMJ. I got fitted for a mouth guard...he makes it an easy experience. Highly recommended!

Dr. Kim is kind and caring. He took time to answer all of my questions and gives honest advice and recommendations. I got a night guard from him in late 2015 but then I got braces so I didn't get to see him again for almost 2 years. Then I visited him recently. He was still Dr. Kim that I knew of. If you have TMJ or teeth clenching, I'd recommend him.

I have a long history of tmj. Clicking pooping since I remember. Never really did anything to prevent damage since it was not painful. About 1 1/2 years ago it started hurting and limited opening. Went to a DDS who advertised as TMJ specialty. Got a splint and had to wear it 24/7 for month. No improvement at all and was told I need full mouth Rehab to correct my jaw issues. Went to get a second opinion with another DDS. That one recommend orthodontic treatment. FINALLY went to Dr. Kim Consultation and exam took about 45min. Diagnosis Arthritis went home with easy stretching instructions, soft deit, no stress clenching, night guard instructions and inflammatory medicine. Had my 2week follow up yesterday. No more pain and I can open as usually. YEAH do I need further dental treatment. No just learn to control my habits. Thank you Dr. Kim

Met with the dentist for TMJ treatment - administrator was friendly when promoting a payment plan for a splint but was rude, aggressive, and unhelpful when asked to inquire regarding insurance coverage. Was confused by her behavior but made sense later when I found out that this is because they receive low reimbursements from insurance companies on TMJ treatment.
