Tremendously unprofessional, hypocritical and incompetent. If you are looking for a salon that makes you feel good about yourself and puts the client first, you've come to the wrong place. Risa is blinded by her own belief system and thus lacks the discernment and empathy necessary to service those who are suffering from any kind of hair loss. A beautician's job is to listen, understand, and devise a way to make you feel confident. After speaking with Risa I was left embarrassed, aggravated and shocked someone would have the gall to claim they're a professional whilst having none of the tact, courtesy and respect that comes with the title. If you're looking for a salon that will judge you without remorse and attempt to substitute as your dermatologist or actual doctor despite having NONE of the credentials to fulfill those roles, you'll feel right at home. If you're searching for a hair salon that is patient, understanding and caring, I implore you to keep searching. The Lounge On Wilshire does not deserve your business. Shame on you Risa.

Love it!. The clean atmosphere, the polite services, the great washings and special hair conditioners, treatments , smoothies.. and the final touches made by Risa. I love my hair!

I went there a few years ago. The treatments work but she'll cut a lot of my hair if a new customer. She helped me with my thin spot but cut 3 inches of my hair. I complained and she said don't get upset over dead ends. I did not have 3 inches of dead ends.

Hair care at its best. Risa is passionate about hair, I've learned quite a bit in just the time I sat in her chair to style my hair. Lupe & Gloria's hands are blessed as well, they can really wash some hair, there is a different level of care offered at "The Lounge On Wilshire"
