Best West Roofing did a fantastic job of reroofing my 1910 craftsman's slightly complicated roof. The old roof was not leaking but was 31 years old and it seemed best to replace it before painting the house. Best West is an independent company and Samuel the owner and I was in contact with him for every detail. He recommended a full tear-off of the old roof. Although I was initially reluctant to, I'm glad we did as it revealed some minor wood rot problems near the eaves where the gutters had failed. Met Samuel while walking my dog. I always hire from job sites where the owner/foreman is present. I had an issue where half my house had a newer roof due to construction. Came over. He gave a fair quote. Called a day later saying he could squeeze us in. Showed up with crew. Turned out, I had four layers of roof since '48. Took everything down to the wood. Replaced damaged wood, even a small internal repair in my garage. Everything done in a day. Work looks great and cleanup was immaculate. Will recommend to my neighborhood.
