About Spa Palace

Spa Palace is a large, 24/7 sanctuary offering comfort, rest, and true healing in the middle of LA. Guests can relax in a peaceful swimming pool, jacuzzis, and signature themed sauna rooms that are really hot for a good sweat, or indulge in rejuvenating body treatments and massages that are great. The overall experience can be a hit or miss, with some finding it a great, relaxing, and incredible retreat at a reasonable price, while others feel something is off. The massive square footage can feel empty and dysfunctional, leading to a creepy vibe where guests feel lost walking in circles. Signage is not very clear, making it difficult to figure out where everything is. The staff can be inconsistent; some are friendlier and provide excellent hospitality and problem solving, while others are rude and not helpful. Operational issues exist, such as credit card processing problems, some hairdryers not working, and post-COVID changes where unisex pools and hot tubs are open only on weekends. Some guests note too much chlorine in the hot tubs. Despite these flaws, many have a surprisingly good experience, enjoying the facilities as a pleasant escape.

This was my first time here and we arrived around 1030 on a Saturday. The first two hours it felt like we had the place to ourselves and it was lovely. There were a variety of rooms and lots to move around to. We had lunch as well and really liked there cashless system of paying. Around 1pm it started to get more crowded and unfortunately really loud. Even though there were signs for quiet areas it wasn't. I am not sure the staff could really control this but it was hard for my friend to enjoy her treatment when there were women laughing and on phones in jacuzzi next to her. Overall I think the day pass for 35 is worth it if you arrive early and avoid crowds. My friend...read full review

The place is great. I'm familiar with korean Spas so I know what to expect. It's a great place to check out and hang out with a friend.. My favorite part was going down to the pool using the elevator. It's like a small club with pools and you can buy drinks. You can also wear a bathing suit in that area It was a relaxing experience.. my skin always looks better when I walk out. For $35 entrance free, you are getting a bargain.

There weren't any stalls to change into and employees are constantly supervising over cameras. The food is overpriced for the serving size but overall there is a good number of amenities. The areas its located in is also very sketchy.
