Dr. Keller has been nothing but remarkable in her quest to heal my gut issues related to hydrogen sulfide sibo and dysbiosis. She has also been fantastic in utilizing my epigenetics to prescribe the perfect supplements/food/treatments to maximize my health. Dr. Keller is an invaluable resource for people suffering from SIBO. I found her while watching endless podcasts and youtube channels on the subject of SIBO. Her answers to the usual questions were different and not always popular, but she had experience and data to back up her up. Like many, I suffered in silence with SIBO for many years because when I tried to address it with my primary doctor or even my gastroenterologist, I was sent off for another test or handed a prescription for a quick fix which I now know does not exist. With the support of my husband, we decided I needed to REALLY do something about this diagnosis. So I contacted Dr. Keller from her website: intuitiveedgedoctor.com and scheduled a preliminary video call consultation. We discussed my SIBO, her approach, and my goals. Dr. Keller is a great listener, very professional and direct. She has worked closely with all the top experts in the SIBO community and continues to collaborate on new breakthroughs. Ultimately, I signed on to one of her programs and we worked intently for months on everything from genetic history, nutrition to implementing supplements that can help me and my microbiome navigate life after SIBO. Everything was done via web call, and she provides an app (like MyChart) to allow us to communicate, share docs/pics, log info. It was perfect for my schedule, and in person visits weren't a priority for me. I started the program with my usual speech "I'm severely lactose intolerant, I can't eat this and I can't eat that and especially high fat food...I often have to run to the bathroom shortly after eating and keep immodium handy at all times. I never ate breakfast because it would start the bad gut reactions early so I always waited until later in the day to eat or sometimes not at all depending on the situation". In retrospect, I was miserable. After working with Dr. Keller I can proudly report that a lot has changed. I now eat some cheeses, whey protein, foods higher in fat, and I'm willing to try just about anything now... Dr. Melonie Keller is an excellent specialist in her field - SIBO. She is very knowledgeable in treating not only SIBO, but underlying cause and related imbalances. She is very results oriented and bases treatments on test results as well as intuitive understanding. She is a very lovely person to work with as well! Her 6-month program is very worthwhile. It allows her to give the personalized focus that is needed when dealing with often long-standing, complex issues that other MD's have not been able to treat. I'm very grateful to have found her and had the chance to work with her on my own health journey!
