I worked with LA Public Counsel during my Chapter 7 bankruptcy process, and the support I received was genuinely advantageous. They made sure I knew about the legal resources and help programs that were available to veterans. Suzanne and Vikki were directly involved in helping me with my case and guiding me through the process of finding a pro bono lawyer. They were professional, quick to respond, and clear about what help was available and what wasn't. LA Public Counsel's pro bono lawyer program connected me with qualified legal representation that aligned with my financial constraints. I can’t recommend this place enough! I have referred several parents here. Kelsey White helped me with 2 separate cases for my both of my children.(IEP and 504)
I absolutely feel so much more comfortable sending my kids to school knowing all their needs are on their IEP with proper accommodations. I walked in thinking the odds weren’t in our favor and I was wrong. Kelsey advocated for my son and his needs even though it wasn’t an average case. We walked away with exactly everything I need for him to be able to thrive at school. Most importantly, she helped me with tips and knowledge to be able to advocate myself. I can’t thank her and the team enough!
