Dr. Joey is the best. He found out our baby has a enlarged heart and with medication has given us more time with Kya our baby. He cares and works hard to help all of the fur babies.

This place is great, a salvation for folks who might have have to resources to get their pets cared for at other facilities.

You have to show up early, (before 7am, Tuesday-Saturday,) to get on the sign-up list. They only serve the first 50 people that sign up each day. Be prepared to wait up to 5 hours. But Dr. Joey his staff are doing great work, and are a true asset to this community.

I am currently underemployed, and when I took my cat to the vet, they quoted more than $1500 to have a growth removed. I simply could not afford that. I heard about NFAH from a friend, and they were able to perform the surgery (with biopsy and removal of stitches weeks later) for about half as much.

I am grateful that this place and these people are here, working hard with compassion, week after week and year after year.

Thank you Dr. Joey and all the folks at NFAH!

I took my kittens to get spayed here and my kittens came back very traumatized and scared. It’s been a week and they are never the same. They were very nice and sweet but now they have changed and become very scared, defensive, and aggressive. Something must of happened for them to change like that. This makes me wonder if the vet or the vet assistants abused them. I also wonder if they did not separate the dogs and cats and maybe that’s why they are so traumatized. I also wonder if the vet performed surgery on them with the other cats watching in the same room and maybe that’s why they’re also traumatized.
