I love everything about this spot, highly recommend; it’s way better than everything around USC for the price. BUT HOLY COW, don’t trust the posted hours online. I’ve been going here for the past 4 years and they’re never open on time (as of May 2026). The real open hours are realistically 12:30-1:00pm. It’s frustrating having to play this guessing game every time I want to get a haircut, but it’s worth because the haircuts are solid.

The kindest old lady, I ever met. I was moving out of LA after my graduation, she gave me free haircut even though I wanted to pay. She is 63 yo and still working so hard with a smile on her face. She gave away free haircuts just cause she was happy. Hands down best person I met this year.

Great place to visit for a great haircut, mustache trimming, and for great prices, unlike other babershops where they charge $40 and do a mid job at it and perhapse a distasteful attitude. I recommend people to seek the MC Barbershop if they are looking to get a great haircut and lovely services.
