The Lotus Center for Integrative Medicine gave me my life back. Let me be more specific. Rena Haley, my acupuncturist, gave me my life back. In 2009, I was diagnosed with Meniere's disease which is an inner ear disease that causes vertigo that can last up 4-6 hours. These episodes were sometimes very frequent and I had to alter my plans often as a result of them. I had gone to several doctors that prescribed different medications for the disease but nothing worked consistently. The next step was invasive surgery that only had a 50/50 chance of working.
