I took the Art Deco tour in DTLA and it was so fun and fascinating. My tour guide, Lisa, was fabulous. She was extremely knowledgable and passionate about the topic and we were able to see some beautiful buildings. I showed up solo but my entire group was lovely, and I had some nice conversations during the tour. I plan on taking another soon! Whether you're a local or visiting, I highly recommend taking tour (or two, or three!) from the LA Conservancy!

I joined the art deco tour and it was fantastic! Our guide Carolyn did an incredible job! She pointed to us every intricate details of the building decorations and explained the symbolism and thinking behind it. The tour really immersed us in the old LA, as she shared a lot of background history, and how these buildings fit into the vision people had for the city! A perfect introduction to LA for a first time tourist like me.

The LA Conservancy offers great walking tours that highlight LA's architectural history. I took the downtown tour, and it was really informative. It’s a great way to learn about LA’s history while exploring hidden gems in the city. The guide was knowledgeable and made the experience fun.
