My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Alexis to choreograph our first dance for our wedding in May, and I cannot express enough how wonderful our experience was with her. Alexis made us feel completely at ease. My husband was initially nervous about taking dance lessons, but Alexis's warm and encouraging demeanor quickly dispelled any apprehension. Dancing with Alexis has been a phenomenal experience! A friend of mine recommend LA Salsa and Bachata Dance Academy because Alexis is a great instructor. She makes it easy and fun to learn! Her focus on technique and ensuring that her students learn the fundamentals shows as we progress throughout the nine-week course.
I’ll be taking her courses during this summer as well to continue developing my Salsa and Bachata skills.
I took a private dance class for bachata and salsa with Alexis and it exceeded my expectations. In all honesty, this was probably the best dance class I have ever taken. Alexis is an expert at teaching the fundamentals of partner dancing and making sure that you build good habits. As a beginner and intermediate dancer, this is essential. I am personally moving from the LA area but If you are in the LA and want to improve your dancing ability with a patient, kind, and fun teacher, you couldn’t do much better than going with Alexis.
