Khemistre Hair Studio is the ultimate premiere salon in LA. I reside in San Diego and make the drive to LA for my appointment every two weeks. The salon bodes lovely vibrant colors, great energy and professional staff. The salon owner, Tiphanie is the ultimate stylist and knows her craft. This truly is her ministry. Parking is convenient. I highly recommend Khemistre!! My hair is on point when I leave the salon, lasting between each service appointment, and receiving daily compliments before I return to the chair. Ugh. Didn't appreciate being scolded by Toni for being a few minutes late. She wasn't even ready for me. Too uptight and inflexible if you ask me. Cute salon, but older clientele. Didn't really feel like I fit in. Of course I was not quoted a price beforehand so when I was all done I was shocked at the cost of everything. Not to mention that the style she left me with had me looking like a wet dog, all thin and flat, no body, no styling, nothing. Didn't get my color right either.

Shop was very nice/clean. Everybody was very nice. My favorite was, I wasn't too short for the shampoo bowl, which made it a very pleasant experience. Usually the bowls are made for taller people which makes it uncomfortable if you're short but it was great. Very attentive staff...the lady who did my hair Denise was very patient with me and I left very happy with my experience.
