GREAT PLACE TO FIND A SPINE OR NEUROLOGICAL SURGEON ================================================= My husband had a recent spinal surgery to fuse three cervical spine discs and we're both happy a week after surgery. We have a spine surgeon in the family, but he was vacationing in Vietnam during my husband's emergency. My husband's surgeon was Thomas C. Chen, MD, PhD, and he is also professor in the Neurological Surgery Department of Keck School of Medicine. I have attached a copy of Dr. Chen's credentials which are impressive. I had a 2 stage spinal reconstruction done by Dr Hah. It was a nightmare. I almost died of atrial fibrillation but somehow I survived. Almost 3 years later one of my rods broke. That was one year ago. My son and I were told I need to learn to live with the pain. I was told I was rude to Dr Hah. Yet all the documentation states I am a pleasant patient? Over the past year I have rapidly deteriorated. I can barely walk, bath, dress, stand up straight, sleep. It's become overwhelming. I decided to go another spine center.
