Visiting LA and needed a good deep tissue massage and found this place from reviews. My masseuse was amazing, super strong hands as I have a lot of neck and shoulder knots and she worked them so well. I did a 90 minute full body. Would recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a no frills place. There is a cash/card price difference tho.
I’ve been coming to both Jjs locations for a few years now and I highly recommend their massages. The masseuses are super strong and very skilled and the facial / head massages are fantastic. The price ($50 cash per hour) is incredible for LA and it really seems fair to give a $10+ tip (20%) when they are providing a great service at such a reasonable cost. They almost always have availability when you call and are very friendly at the shop. First time here and Angela was my masseus and I will definitely be coming back to her! Right when you walk in you get the smell of essential oils (already therapeutic), then they walk you to your room and once I laid down I instantly was relaxed. I went In mainly for shoulder work. I messed up my shoulder and she was able to release my knots! 10/10 experience . Customer service was great. Ambiance and vibe was 10/10. There is sort of a language barrier but they understood everything I asked so I was content.
