My primary care doctor hadn't gotten back to me after 3 weeks of falling square on my tailbone. Finally in severe pain I went to Hollywood Pres. I was seen within a small wait, treated very well by Mr M and Ms J with dignity, respect and true care. My advice is to understand how triage works. It's not by arrival times it's by urgency of care. Even though you might be in horrible pain or discomfort be polite and kind to the staff!
Great hospital for rehab services. my mom has brain cancer and lost feeling and movement from her left side of body. She was transferred here after surgery. Let me just say the physical therapists and speech therapists were amazing and very professional. My mom was unable to sit on her own and with just a week of her being there she showed so much progress. Unfortunately, she was unable to continue treatment there due to insurance issues. The only thing I wished was for the social worker assign to my mother case would have tried harder but overall, I am very thankful for all the work they did to help my mother and for what they do.
Had lacerations on multiple fingers of the right hand. Waited 5 hours to get simple stitches which took only 20 minutes. Said the wait was long due to more severe patients. Poor excuse. Like I said, could have been taken care of in 20 minutes, not 5 hours.
