They have consistently not returned calls they said they would.

Best dr nd nurses I ever came across hands down
Very respectful and I’ve experienced them go out their way to make sure I was well

Cannot say enough about this place.
Been going for years. Everybody I’ve interacted with has been patient, kind and helpful. I always feel listened and tended to.

I am grateful I never have to dread going to the doctor :) thank you APLA.

(I’ve been to their Long Beach location as well and they were just as great)

I took the time to write this because I had such a bad experience. The NP that saw me was so dumb its incomprehensible. I came in, so sick and in pain, missing work and losing money. I had a serious sinus infection that was already going on for several days. I tested negative for flu and covid. And she told me she didnt know which antibiotics were safe for pregnancy so I should just take over the counter stuff like mucinex. Meanwhile my pain and infection got worse and worse and I have to take typlenol to survive each day and at this point after 10 days I'm so scared for myself and my unborn baby. I am ready to sue for damages. What a dumb doctor. Wont come to this location for a sick visit ever again.

seems like they mostly need funding and shouldn’t pass that stress onto their “patients.” it’s the only place i know to get T but i feel like i have to fight for it. will be looking at other options. everyone deserves gender affirming care

I am writing this review to document a serious dental experience that occurred right before the COVID shutdown period. I had broken my tooth in half after biting into something hard and was told I would need further treatment to prevent losing the tooth.

At that time, my long-term dentist had recently left the clinic, and I was seen during a transitional period. During the visit, I was sent home to wait for the follow-up procedure without antibiotics, without immediate treatment, and without clear contingency instructions, despite the severity of the dental condition.

Shortly after, COVID shutdowns began and access to dental care became extremely limited. Because I had been discharged to wait without stabilization of the condition, my tooth deteriorated and developed a serious infection. I ultimately had to seek care at another clinic and have the tooth extracted, paying out of pocket during an already difficult period when services were restricted.

What was most concerning was the lack of follow-up guidance, accountability, or proactive communication after the situation worsened. As an established patient who had prior continuity of care at this clinic, the sudden transition and absence of structured discharge planning had a lasting impact on my dental health and financial stability.

The long-term consequence was the loss of the tooth and significant expenses for replacement treatment over time, which could have potentially been mitigated with clearer clinical guidance, risk management, and contingency planning during a period of known healthcare disruption.

I strongly encourage patients to ask detailed questions about infection risk, discharge instructions, and emergency options if treatment is delayed, especially when being sent home to wait for a future procedure. This experience was deeply disappointing, as I ultimately lost the tooth I was trying to save and felt unsupported during a critical moment of care.

They did not call me for my scheduled phone appointment last week. I have seen a number of providers here and I just don't think they are helping

Terrible customer service. Called to make an appointment as a new patient, and was treated terrible. The lady who picked up the phone was rude and impatient, put me on hold for 20 minutes just for her to hang up on me.

Carina is very unhelpful. A lot of savior syndrome happening there.
