Chris from eco builders is a liar and con man. We had a contract with him but he kept on changing the terms and asking for more money every week without completing the job. We also had a project manager Haida sheikh/Yousuf that misrepresented herself and the 2 of them defrauded us of a lot of money and time! I would urge everyone to NOT hire them as their contractor license 1033460 is also expired.
I do not recommend this business. We paid thousands expecting professional work and a clear timeline, but the project was left incomplete and below standard—including unfinished framing for the counter/pony wall, and drywall installed so poorly (and not per plans) that we now have to open walls and redo it. Their team also broke our T-bar, then denied responsibility and charged us to replace what they damaged. We made it crystal clear we needed the job done by the 15th to make our holiday soft opening, we were assured it would happen, and then no meaningful work was done for weeks, pushing us back at least another month. When we demanded a refund for the unfinished work/materials, they refused—so we’re now pursuing legal remedies to recover funds paid for work that was not performed. Also, public licensing records list their CSLB license (#1033460) with an expiration date of 11/30/2025, which is something customers should verify before hiring.
