This place is awful. The front desk woman (with the blue/purple hair) is extremely rude. She’s always in a bad mood and gives an attitude. I’ve also heard her yelling at my dog so I’ll never be taking my dog here again.

We’ve trusted Dog-e-Den for years for daycare and occasional overnight boarding for our dog, and our experience has been so positive that we haven’t considered anywhere else.
We like that they’re so careful about screening for temperament and health - they’ve even been the first to let us know when a vaccine is late before our vet!
Everyone we’ve encountered there has been so kind - especially Krystal - who makes me certain that our pup is good hands whenever I drop her off.

would strongly recommend avoiding this place if you value your time and reliability. I contacted them in advance because I urgently needed daycare for just a few hours due to a medical appointment I had been waiting 4 months for. I created an account, called to confirm the process, explained that online booking was not working, and was clearly told that no appointment was required and that I could simply bring my dog for a drop-in as long as I had vaccine records.
After driving 4 hours and arriving one hour before my medical procedure, I was suddenly told that my dog needed a temperament test that must be scheduled far in advance. This requirement was never mentioned during the phone call. When I explained that I was about to miss an important medical appointment, instead of offering any solution, staff suggested I “find someone else,” even though I had already explained I came from another city.
Then another employee reviewed the same vaccine documents and claimed they were not acceptable because they showed the vaccination date but not an expiration date, something that was also never communicated beforehand. In the end, 30 minutes before a serious medical procedure, they refused to take my dog and told me to search for another facility.
Because of their misinformation and lack of communication, I lost a medical appointment I had waited months for after a 4-hour drive. This experience showed a complete lack of organization, accountability, and empathy toward clients. Extremely disappointing and stressful experience.

They advertise the monthly membership by including a free grooming. When my grooming was cancelled, they refused to ACCOMMODATE me for another appointment. They offered to reschedule. However, rescheduling for a time that works for them is very different than accommodating the person who they just inconvenienced.
Not okay. I feel cheated and like my business does not matter to this place.

Dog e Den in Hollywood is absolutely amazing. The staff is so kind and they really do take amazing care of the animals. Special shoutout to Kayla - my dog absolutely ADORES her and gets really excited to see her in the morning. All of the dogs are so friendly and they all get along with each other. Another bonus is being able to watch your dog on the webcams. It’s so cute to see how much fun they are having. Really happy I found this place!

Sincerely, do not bring your dog here if you care about their well being! I dropped Sparky off here just yesterday to do a temperment test and have a day at daycare. The women at the front desk were nice upon arrival at around 1pm. Sparky passed his test and I started him at daycare that day to get him acclimated. The problems started in the evening when I went to pick Sparky up at around 6:45 pm to 7pm. The trainer who watched the dog had forgotten him in the room alone and he was not being supervised. Also Sparky was covered in shit. The final straw was when we asked to pickup our dog and the front desk person brought the wrong dog out and proceeded to give me attitude when I told him that it was not the right dog. They have no proper check in/check out system. No proper oversight of the dogs and are generally unorganized. THIS CARELESSNESS IS HOW DOGS DIE IN DAYCARE. Also, I made a reservation for daycare on September 4th and cancelled it today on the 5th after the debacle and the front desk person said they would not give my $350 deposit back a week before the boarding even though he doesn't board until the 15th (10 days before). AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

We love Dog-E-Den! My dog gets so excited to go every day and play with his friends. The whole staff is very friendly, and they always make sure to let you know if they notice anything out of the normal going on with your dog. I love that I can check in on my pup throughout the day via their webcams. They also offer an unlimited package, which is a great deal if you're bringing your dog there regularly during the week. Highly recommend!

I'll preface this by saying that we are "those" millennial dog parents. Our dog is our baby. We research everything we give him ten hundred times over. Friends ask us how our dog is doing before they ask how we're doing. We have custom-made pajama pants with our dog's face on them. You know. Those people. So please trust me when I say that I do not leave our Obi in others' care lightly. I COMPLETELY and FULLY trust Dog-E-Den. We've been going to Dog-E-Den for the past 2 years, ever since I moved to Los Angeles from NYC. Dog-E-Den came highly recommended from my sister and it is bar none the best daycare we tried. Obi comes in for daycare, boarding, and grooming. We know that when he's there, he's cared for, loved, and catered to. All of the staff is GREAT, really friendly, and they each intimately know and care for the dogs. They also have a webcam that's on during their store hours and I like watching on webcam more than I like to admit. They really cater to each dog's needs. Ours is a bit of a wild child, and they know his strange intricacies, let him have fun, and don't try to change him. I do try to call at least once a day when he's in boarding and the staff is always happy to tell me how he's doing, and they're real updates, like they'll share stories of how he's doing and which dog he's playing with the most. Plus, we have the webcam and get a report card a day, which includes how much of his food he ate. They can be strict on vaccines and the behavior test, sure, but we are grateful for that. We WANT them to be strict on those! See again: we are very protective of our best friend!! We have nothing but love for the whole staff. Plus, the grooming and groomer are also great, and quite possibly the most affordable groomer in the area. Obi also recently stayed overnight during the LA heatwave while we were at our friends' wedding in NJ, and the air conditioning in the facility was GREAT. We strongly recommend Dog-E-Den for your pup!

Dog-E-Den Hollywood is the best! I started taking my 1 year old dog there M-F about a month and a half ago. He has the best time, and is so excited to get there and play with his new friends every morning. The staff is all very friendly and they keep the dog area very clean throughout the day. I love that I can check in on my baby via the cameras and the daily report cards with photos are a nice touch. Highly recommend if you're looking for a good daycare option for your pup.
