This woman ruined my hair as well. I made an appointment for loc extensions. She stated in her first initial contact email that it would take 10-14 hours. I ended up sitting in her chair for 44 hours straight and still they were not finished. I had to go back 6 days later for an appointment that was supposed to take 2-4 hours. I sat for and additional 11 hours that day. So over $800 and 55 hours later my locs were installed. FLASH 6 WEEKS LATER- I had to remove the lower locs because the installation was done improperly to tight, to much extension on not enough hair, (a real professional stated). THIS WOMAN RUINED MY HAIR! I went to get crochet braids, which is an easy to-do style that should not take too long or be too difficult to remove. First, she took 5 HOURS to finish the set. In addition, at the end of the appointment, she told me that she had sewn OVER the crochets to "Secure" the hair. Now she told me AFTER she had already done it; otherwise I would have told her to not do that as it would have been difficult to take down. Since I had already been there for five hours, I couldn't stand to sit there longer and have her remove and re-do everything. So I left A month later, I decide to remove the crochet braids. I should have written this a long time ago. I love her!! She is a terrific and tremendously patient stylist. My hair had broken because of wearing lace fronts and she did terrific work in terms of doing individual tree braids and masking the damage. We went much, MUCH longer than either of us thought as the result of the damage and she just kept going. It was really awesome. I"m telling everyone how awesome she is.
