I came in recently because I was looking to get a more styleized haircut for my wedding than I get at my normal barbershop. Corinne was recommended by a friend so I set up an appointment about a month and half before the wedding as a trial run to see if I liked it. When I arrived to my appointment, I couldn't have had a better experience. I described all the issues I had with my normal haircuts to Corinne and how it was hard for me to get a good haircut that fit my face and was balanced because it seemed like my normal barber mostly only cared about the fade portion. Corinne was so helpful and knew exactly what I needed and gave me a haircut that was better than I imagined it could be. When I got home I showed my (now wife) and she said I HAD to go back to Corinne and get the same haircut before the wedding and couldn't have agreed more. Needless to say, the wedding day cut was perfect and I'm really thankful that Corinne was able to nail such a important wedding day grooming detail for me!

Spent $400 on half highlights and specifically asked for no gold/brassiness, showing photos of my usual creamy blonde. The owner (Corinne) insisted a little gold was fine and that most clients "freak out" unnecessarily at the mention of gold -- then proceeded to give me exactly that. I left with a harsh yellow-gold blonde I've never had in my life. I returned a week later for a toner, which only slightly improved the color and faded back to yellow within three weeks. I was told it was due to prior stylist damage (though I've never had an issue with the stylist I've had for 5+ years), mineral build-up, or "California water." If that were true, I would have walked in with yellow hair -- which I absolutely did not. Multiple other stylists told me the work was so poor that I should request a full refund. After days of back-and-forth, I requested a partial -- since I had to pay another stylist $200 to fix it. Instead, they offered a third visit at my expense and denied the refund. The stylist even sent me photos of my hair after the dye job, claiming the orange/gold tone was due to my "natural hair changing color" -- something no other stylist has ever suggested, and which she mentioned only after I requested a refund along with multiple other creative excuses - none which were mentioned in my first visit. It was pretty clear she gave me gold and was unable to fix it by toner alone (which would have been impossible). Rather than just admitting she messed up and offering to fix it back to what I walked in with or provide a refund, she put all the blame on my hair quality and avoided any accountability. The new stylist corrected it easily with fresh foils, proving the issue was poor technique, not my hair. She also confirmed (which is obvious to the eye) there was no damage except the bad highlights I received. I'll have to get it reset to normal again in three months time but I'm currently out $600+ for what should have been basic blonde highlights -- instead I got subpar work, bad excuses, and zero accountability. Super embarrassing that not only are they ok with this level of poor workmanship but that they are ok with openly scamming clients like this. Worst salon experience ever.

Corinne did an incredible job with my color! I am new to LA and was on the hunt for a blonde expert who understood my specific shade of beige blonde. Corinne gave me babylights and an amazing clean blonde - she did a fantastic job. I could not be happier.
