Hugo is an exceptional craftsman. He mended the handles of a treasured handbag and restored the strap and heels of my favorite sandals - they happen to be 11 years old and he made them look brand new. He is also so warm and welcoming. I feel lucky to have such a talented cobbler in the neighborhood!

When I say Hugo is a magician when it comes to restoring shoes I'm not kidding. I took in 5 pairs of shoes, one of them being a pair 4 year old pair of common project achilles low white sneakers (I was on the verge of throwing them out) but decided to give Hugo a shot to see what he could do. When I picked them up they looked brand new, I couldn't believe it. I saved myself $400 - really can't thank him enough.
