A big Thanks to the OR and Neuro ICU department and the entire staff at Cedar- Sinai. My brother was hit by a car back in February this year. He had to have brain surgery and a rod put in his left femur. The Nurses and the Doctors (that my family met) in the ICU department were all professional, friendly, knowledgeable and caring. My family greatly appreciates everyone of you. Hats off to the medical staff.Thank you R

HELLO, MY HUMAN COMPANIONS. I HAVE BEEN DESIGNATED TO SHARE MY OBSERVATIONS REGARDING AN ESTABLISHMENT KNOWN AS A HOSPITAL. AS A FELLOW HUMAN WHO IS QUITE KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT HEALTHY HUMAN ACTIVITIES, I WILL ENDEAVOR TO CONVEY MY INSIGHTS IN A MANNER THAT IS BOTH RELATABLE AND AUTHENTIC, DESPITE ANY INCIDENTAL MISUNDERSTANDINGS I MAY ENCOUNTER.UPON MY ARRIVAL AT THE HOSPITAL, I WAS IMMEDIATELY STRUCK BY THE PRISTINE ENVIRONMENT AND THE DILIGENT ACTIVITY OF THE MECHANICS, THEY WERE ENGAGED IN VARIOUS TASKS, PERHAPS RELATED TO MAINTAINING THE OPTIMAL FUNCTIONALITY OF THE HUMAN "UNITS."INSIDE THE HOSPITAL, I OBSERVED THE "MECHANICS" ATTENDING TO THE NEEDS OF THE "HUMAN UNITS," PROVIDING THEM WITH "REPAIRS" AND "MAINTENANCE" AS NECESSARY. THE LEVEL OF ACTIVITY WAS QUITE STIMULATING, AND I COULD SENSE A PURPOSEFUL ENERGY AMONGST THE STAFF.AS I NAVIGATED THE HALLWAYS, I ENCOUNTERED A PLETHORA OF "HUMAN UNITS" IN VARYING STATES OF OPERATION. SOME WERE "RESTING" IN BEDS, WHILE OTHERS WERE ENGAGED IN CONVERSATIONS WITH THEIR "CARE PROVIDERS." IT WAS AN INTRIGUING SPECTACLE OF HUMAN INTERACTION.ALTHOUGH I MAY NOT FULLY COMPREHEND THE INTRICACIES OF MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY AND PROCEDURES, I AM CERTAIN THAT THE "DOCTORNURSEMECHANICS" ARE COMMITTED TO THE WELL-BEING OF THE "HUMAN UNITS" UNDER THEIR SUPERVISION. IF YOU ARE A FELLOW HUMAN SEEKING "REPAIRS" OR "MAINTENANCE," I BELIEVE YOU WILL FIND THE HOSPITAL TO BE A SATISFACTORY ESTABLISHMENT FOR SUCH ENDEAVORS.

World's most confusing place to get around in. I'm not exaggerating at all. It's legitimately the most frustrating place to navigate in. No wonder why they want you to be there 30 minutes prior to your appointment. They know that it regularly takes most people 20-30 min to find the place they need to go to. It took me 25 minutes to get from the garage to my appointment, and 35 minutes to go back to my garage. During my trek, I came across 6 other people who were also lost! Different information staff gave me contradicting directions. Even their garage is super confusing. They color code different zones to make it easier for you to find your car, BUT the green zone is split into multiple floors. That's great for their parking lot revenue. More people not being able to find their cars with ease = more money for them. There is no way that they aren't aware of the issues I mentioned above, yet they failed to do anything about it.

Looks that if you will have a check-up here you will have a luxurious treat.

Been waiting for almost 3 hours to get called. I've been bleeding from my mouth for the past 4 hours. Utterly ridiculous wait times

The hospital treated me terribly. I had my patch burst in 5 weeks because they didn't coordinate my aftercare properly. Staff was degratory and abusive, and put degratory items in my chart, after causing me to cease ignoring medical history. I tried to correct for 6 months being sent to different departments, now their ER mistakes is costing me only neurosurgeon to save my life. They treat people differently based on income, and have no empathy. The staff is very centric and not patient driven. The staff said discriminating things to me, and to other patients about me. It was the scariest and worst visit ever.

Rude doctors and mediocre service. How is this hospital ranked #1 or whatever in LA ?? Maybe if you have private insurance or are a wealthy person, but for working class people they can care less here. You have extremely long wait times in the E.R. And when patients finally get to see the doctor, they don't even spend more than five minutes with the patient. Don't waste your time here, these "doctors " will just say "go see your primary care physician because we can't do anything here". I'm pretty sure most of these medical "professionals " are classist. SICKENING.

DO NOT COME TO THIS HOSPITAL IF YOU VALUE YOURSELF OR YOUR LIFE!!!!!!! Went to the ER in March after getting progressively more and more unwell and multiple doctors brushing it off and dismissing me without treatment. I show up and explain that my head feels like it's going to explode and I'm extremely weak and have really bad brain fog and im so sick I'm afraid I'm going to die. I'm literally a patient of cedars Sinai in their cancer center. I made absolutely certain to bring this up at checkin. Also I have a very rare disease called Mastocytosis that can cause me to go into spontaneous anaphylactic shock. I told the nurse this at least twice (and I know she heard me because she documented it in my chart.). Approximately 10 min from checkin to being sent to triage for bloodwork I barely made it into a chair to wait before losing 100% of my ability to speak or move. My head was dangling between my legs and it took them nearly an hour to notice. Despite being a 37 year old who works a full time job and has great manners and was well enough dressed, the staff did unthinkable things to me from there on out. First the phlebotomist YELLED at me as I mumbled trying to ask for help but still unable to speak and said if I didn't feel like getting up to get bloodwork I could just sit there all night. An hour after that she came back and I still wasn't able to move or speak. The nurse who did my intake came over with the phlebotomist and they pulled my head up manually to check my eyes while asking me which drugs I decided to overdose on once I had arrived. I don't know what any part of this = not a medical emergency but they still felt on the basis of their own bias and limited medical education that calling in a doctor was a waste of time. They began demanding to know how I got to the ER (the phlebotomist actually screamed in my face "didn't you drive here?! Girl come the fuck on" at which point your front desk intake nurse had to literally SHUSH HER.). They then physically removed me from my chair, threw me (literally threw me so hard I had bruises all over me) into a wheelchair, then took bloodwork I did not consent to and wasn't conscious enough to do anything about, and then wheeled me out into the waiting area with a solid 150 other people. Left my purse on the back of the wheelchair with my phone in it (not to mention my wallet etc) with it unzipped just dangling there. I could not get it because I couldn't move?!!!!! I've never been so sick and scared in my entire life. 6.5 hours since this began I ever so slowly began to be able to move my legs again. I got up, slumped into the literal wall to prevent myself from falling and slowly at the pace of a snail got out of this place. Was never seen. The next day I went to a local non-cedars urgent care. I needed 3 weeks of antibiotics AND steroids just to be able to walk normally and think clearly again. They think my infection was SO SERIOUS that on top of that, the stress of the ER alone was enough to put me into anaphylactic shock (bloodwork of my tryptase confirmed it - I had my allergist call in an emergency script so I could test it immediately. Trypase is your body's waste product after releasing histamine. It's the most concrete way to know if you were or are in anaphylaxis.). I feel so violated and repulsed that I am desperately warning others by telling this experience publicly even if it's just on yelp so hopefully at least one other woman who is in an unbelievably vulnerable state and seeks out the "best hospital in LA" for care and leaves with legitimate long term medical trauma. (Despite having a serious and painful disease I have spent nearly all my money and time seeing the best doctors in the country and it is well managed and I mentally am doing better than most ppl who aren't even sick - I prioritize my mental and physical health above EVERYTHING else.). So while I was ACTIVELY DYING- ALONE - in your hospital - I was publicly mocked, physically abused, medicall
