This place should have 10 stars. Went in after a failed haircut somewhere else and the young guy (sorry I didn’t catch your name) fixed me up. He made some suggestions I never thought of, which I decided to go with; and I left with a better cut than I ever get.
Seriously go here, the barbers cut all types of hair. In my case, wavy blonde hair, which is usually tough to find someone in San Diego used to it.

Castro Barbershop is the spot! Walk-ins are welcome, but I’d recommend making an appointment to lock in your time. The crew here is super chill, polite, and professional—they know how to keep things running smoothly. Plus, they keep the vibes right with good music while you’re in the chair. Definitely my go-to for a fresh cut!

Been coming here for about a year now.
Place is clean, friendly, and loaded with good vibes. Only street parking is available so plan ahead.
I tend to stick with a barber when I find a good one, ask for Emerson.
The man is efficient, skilled, and friendly. He takes the time necessary to line me up just right, you’ll appreciate his attention to detail.
There’s a coffee shop next door and mini mart as well, so it’s a great spot they got here especially if you’re early or wanna snack/beverage right after.
