Great studio! My son has been taking classes here for over 3 years, since he was 3.5. The program has been amazing in both making him physically stronger and teaching him patience and focus, which has translated wonderfully for school and other activities. Group classes are structured by age and ability, ensuring that kids are challenged though still having lots of fun. Master Sampson and Sensei Bryce know how to encourage each kid to do their best. We recommend this studio to all our friends.

Love this studio! Master Sampson and Sensei Bryce are great with younger kids. They're patient, kind, and adapt well to different learning styles. They do a mix of 1:1 teaching and group classes to ensure the students are continuously challenged, while mastering different forms. My 6 year old has been attending for over a year and has made many new friends. Highly recommended!

This studio is amazing! My son started at 4 years old. A friend recommended them to help with his confidence as he was shy and easily emotional. Master Sampson and Sensei Bryce have been patient, strong, kind, and incredible teachers. My son is 6 now and goes to each group and private class with so much excitement. I highly recommend!

I've looked around at a lot of Martial Arts dojo's and I'm so happy I found Brentwood Martial Arts. It's by far one of the best in Los Angeles. Master Sampson is amazing. His energy, kindness, and deep passion for martial arts can be seen and felt in the way he teaches. He has a plethora of knowledge that makes you want to keep learning more and more. Not only am I learning practical self defense moves but I'm getting into the best shape of my life, all while having fun! Do yourself and favor and sign up!

The instructors are super nice and very accommodating. My son is 4 and didn't do well the first few classes. They went out of their way to get him involved and comfortable. He's been going a couple months now and is excited to go.

I have been a student for over eight years and my experience has been amazing. The style of teaching here under Master Sampson and the other wonderful sensei’s, can best be described with three words- mind, body and spirit. I’ve not only gained the physical forms and techniques, but the mental toughness and spiritual enlightenment as well in a fun, almost lighthearted environment. In addition, their focus on giving personal attention to each student, from young to old, and all walks of life, makes this dojo the ultimate place to learn Kenpo Karate!

I am soon trying for a brown belt, and they help me every step of the way. The karate teachers are incredibly nice, but they also get the job done. You can take private lessons, or you can take classes in a group. There are so many options for classes, and you are provided with such a great environment. I recommend this martial arts studio.

My son loves it. All the instructors are great and really connected with the kids. They really care for the kids to strive and be the theirbest. I think the learning curve here compared to other karate places is higher. Two thumbs up...
