I haven’t been in a while to get my hair braided and I’m headed to them this Friday. Prices are reasonable in comparison to shops charging a million fallers to walk in. They are fast and my hair never falls out after I get my hair braided. Fatou is my favorite braider. Also, knotless and box braids are the specialty here. 180-200 is pretty freaking reasonable. Since I’m back into braids I’ll be back with my African peeps at Babacar’s.

Fatou (aka Cousin) has been nothing short of amazing. She is patient, communicative, professional, and truly cares about the health of her clients’ hair. One thing I respect about her is that she will not compromise the integrity of someone’s hair just to complete a style. If additional hair is needed or a style needs to be modified, she’ll tell you honestly and work with you to find the best solution.

Professional, friendly and welcoming. My hair always looks neat and beautifully done. Don’t be afraid to ask questions about styles you see online and bring pictures. Everyone is so knowledgeable, they will tell you what techniques and products will work to achieve the look.
