Came here with my son because of the benefits shut down. Friendly welcoming staff helped us to their food Bank this past Halloween 🎃. A few donors showed up which was really nice. A little partying 🤗Hot dogs and chips with Waters were given. there food pantry gave us a decent bag of food 🛍️. However I would like to highlight the fact that there were a few participants/ clients that were being very greedy and rude bombarding the free Extra Items table. You will find that if you have a problem with staff it never goes away. You may not interact with that person for years and then comes the day you have to interact & you might as well have been on hold with that person's attitude. Yes there are many people that are helpful but there are those that the situation never improves. Be ready.

Although APLA has excellent health services APLA housing services hasn't done absolutely nothing for the past year resulting in me losing my voucher extension last November and after filing a grievance which was not prioritized nor the proper grievance procedures the only outcome was to have my case switched to a different location because the housing worker is afraid cause she knows she did'nt do anything now I'm getting the same results denial of housing services I plan to take legal action for housing services they didn't provide and falsifying documents here's an update on APLA poor housing services as of Friday April 11 2025 after my many attempts to rectify...read full review
