This place is great, from the customer service to the results of the headstones. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for headstones, great prices and even better results. The lady Maria was very helpful and kept me updated with the progress.

I was given a list of potential vendors who would go to Evergreen Cemetery in Boyle Heights to add an engraving to an existing tombstone. That's how I found American Marble & Granite Corporation. The staff were busy with work orders resulting from the large number of COVID deaths, but responded quickly to my inquiry regarding prices and availability. They were kind, professional, reasonably priced, and graciously accommodated my request to change what I wanted to be engraved. They made the task of engraving easy, one less thing to worry about during a difficult time. The family is very pleased that they were able to match the print type on the 50 year old tombstone. The grave is now marked to show that my mother has joined her husband in the same plot. We are also pleased that the work was finished in time for family visits that will occur this Memorial Day weekend. I recommend their work to others.

When my father died unexpectedly this year, my family was not only reeling from the loss but also had to deal with the funeral arrangements. The last one on the list was the headstone so I requested a quote from seven businesses that delivered to Rose Hills in Whittier. The response I received ran the gamut from several thousand dollars to less than a thousand with timelines that went up to six months. I was contacted by John V. from American Marble & Granite (AMG) on the same day, and he gave me the best price out of the seven businesses I contacted. With the covid pandemic, he was forthright about the timeline, which was still the shortest time among the replies I received from the other businesses. My father's headstone was delivered to Rose Hills the other day, and my family is very pleased with the craftsmanship. AMG was thoroughly professional during the entire process so it is no surprise that the company has been in business since 1894. Yes, I research the companies before I engage with them, and AMG passed from start to finish. Hence, the five stars.
