I am a professional photographer. My MacBook Pro overheated, and I was not able to complete an editing assignment. My clients pay me to document their events, and I was stuck. I found Elite Computer doing a Google search. I called and Shaw answered. He was human, not some computer-generated AI BS voice. I shared my problem, and it was a simple process from there. I live in Carson. I drove to Long Beach with my wounded MacBook to see Dr. Shaw. His bedside manner was great; a nice, cool, professional personality with flavor. He was a very relatable guy. He diagnosed the matter right in front of me. My machine was pretty much done for. Shaw couldn't save her. I mean, he could, but it wasn't worth it because it was an older machine. I could purchase another one for the cost of the repair. However, we were able to transfer everything from her to an external hard drive, retrieving everything I needed to keep me from getting sued. Shaw even sold me another MacBook Pro that was in excellent condition. I will say this about Shaw: he knows his business, PC or Mac-based computers. So if you need his assistance—and if you're reading my review, I know you do, lol—you are in more than capable hands. His fees are fair. You won't be charged an arm and a leg....
