Garments weren’t ready when I was quoted a completion date of five days prior to when I actually arrived. I arrived so late because I tried to pick up my garments THREE times during business hours. The door to the shop was locked, no one would answer the phone. The fourth time I stood at the door knocking until someone appeared. Also only accepts cash or check.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! Took my little one in to get a pair of pants taken in at the waist and a simple skirt made with fabric we provided (a costume for a play). The guy took her measurements, marked up the pants (he'd use the pants as reference in making the skirt), and said it'd be "no problem" to have both jobs done in a week's time. There was no back and forth on this, he asked when I needed it and agreed with the day I requested. I show up on the day promised to pick up her garments, and he's sitting watching something on TV. He HAS NOT STARTED the work. He simply says, "Sorry, I had other requests, and I couldn't get anyone to come here to help. Believe me, other people wait two weeks." I said, "But Sir, you said it would be no problem when I said I needed it in ONE! If you'd only told me it wasn't possible, we would've taken our garments elsewhere." His response: "I know, it's not right." So, I ask him for our garments so that I can take them elsewhere. He takes them to the back, WIPES OFF THE CHALK MARKS, and hands them to me. So now, not only do I need to find another tailor to do the work with the little time we have left before the show, but I can't even expedite the process by allowing them to use the measurements already taken. When I asked him why he did that, he replied, "It's my work". Sigh. I'm sure he's a nice guy, but he clearly is unable to operate his business and should probably shut down if this is the level of service he's able to offer. He's left us up a creek without a paddle, and frankly didn't seem really bothered at all.

He made rude comments about being too skinny and I need to get clothes my size. He did not have my pants ready by the date he said. I called a day prior of the date it was suppose to be finished and he said it will be done the next day. I show up and he said he didnt work on my pants because i couldn't do the alterations. I asked him how come he didn't tell me this the day before and he told me he had been sick, which is no excuse. He told me the day I left he knew he couldn't do the alterations but supposedly noitced that after I left. Not only did he not do the alterations I asked for he proceeded to do one alteration the day of and managed to ruin a $60 pair of pants....read full review
