“I was calling around trying to find an eye doctor and honestly felt a little disappointed because most places didn’t have any availability. When I called Burke Optometry, they were able to fit me in the same day, and even offered an earlier appointment, which I really appreciated.

The doctor explained everything very clearly and made sure I understood what was going on. The staff was friendly, and the whole visit went smoothly.“

“So to start off I was skeptical about this place due to all the negative reviews. But I can say my experience was nothing like others, it was positive. My original appointment was months out which was a little irritating but due to my insurance it was to be expected. I called to see if they had a wait list for cancelation and they told me I could just call in the mornings daily to see if anyone has canceled. Well one of the receptionist called me and had a sooner appt which I was thankful because my original appointment was months out and needed new glasses since my old one's from years ago broke and needed a new eye exam. Fast forward to my appointment the receptionist, Mariana was really professional and respectful she kept me informed on the wait time to see the doctor. Once I was seen by the doctor who was fast but efficient, I think he is just very busy, I went with another staff named Susi who was wonderful, very nice, and very informative about the fitting of glasses. She made sure to show me the glasses covered by insurance and how the glasses should fit and certain features of the glasses and how it should fit my face, which other optometry places have never done ever. So I really appreciated her for that. I can't speak for others but I had positive experience.“

“I absolutely love Dr. Bekhtel!! I have been seeing her for almost 7 years. I started going to her when she was located at Jcpenney. I was sad when I heard that she left. Luckily I was able to find her again. You will not be disappointed if you book your appointment with her. She is very patient, kind and knows what she is doing!! I would also like to say that the office manager Sandy is such a joy. I was greeted with a smile as soon as I walked in. Come here you will not regret it!!“

“He used to be in his own practice on Tokay but now joined Zeiter Eye Group part time.
He is very thorough with his exam of your eyes. The "state of the art" technology equipment is still being used by him here.
I went in for my annual check up and he noticed something going on behind my eye. He suggested that I see a retinal specialist. It ended up that I had a torn retina and had I waited any longer, I would've lost sight in my left eye.
I am thankful that he caught the problem in time and that my eyesight was saved.
The retinal doc in Elk Grove that I was referred to was the best in the area, Dr. Robert Wendel, of Retinal Consultants Medical Group.
I trust and recommend Dr. Simpfenderfer.“
