Brought my kids here because our regular optometrist in SF was completely booked until February, and this was the only other place I could find that accepted our insurance that we could get an appointment at before year's end. Dr. Nguyen was great! He did a thorough exam, explained their results to me, and was very friendly. His receptionist isn't that nice though. We were there 2 separate times and her whole attitude is off-putting, which made it awkward. Being the first person to come in contact with customers is super important. I know what you're thinking, "who goes to an optometrist inside of a Costco?" Well, Dr Nguyen is not only super convenient, he's also really efficient and professional. His exams are always through and he will talk over different options with you about lens vs. contacts vs lasik. (and as an added bonus he's in the VSP insurance program) you really can't go wrong with seeing him. :)
